If the answer is YES: You may be eligible to join us for Florida Coastal School of Law's 11th Annual Citizenship Day. Lawful Permanent Residents interested in becoming U.S. Citizens are able to receive FREE legal help from attorneys with pursuing Citizenship including ensuring the applicant is eligible, legal advice on their case, application preparation when eligible and referral to pro bono if any issues, etc.*
To participate in Citizenship Day, you MUST attend one of the following Pre-Registration and Event Information Sessions at Florida Coastal School of Law:
Saturday, March 24 at 12:00 PM or
Wednesday, March 28 at 6:30 PM
Please bring the following documents to pre-registration: Required — Green Card; Optional — State issued ID, Social Security card and 3 years of tax returns.
Citizenship Day is coordinated by the Florida Coastal School of Law Legal Clinics and sponsored by the American Immigration Lawyer Association, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. Due to this collaborative effort, Jacksonville has one of the largest Citizenship Days in the country — consistently assisting over 100 immigrants in our community each year!
*Applicants are still responsible for paying the Application Fee
($725.00) unless their circumstances provide a basis for a waiver.
