Saunders Sermons an independent artist.
Fusing jazz with pop, R&B, and hip hop is Sermons’s own unique blend
of artistry. «I want to bring elegance back to music and set a new
standard for the industry like the greats, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis
Jr., John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and Louis Armstrong,» he says.
Sermons is a 2x Grammy award winning Vocalist/Trombonist/ Songwriter.
Saunders Sermons, currently on tour with Derek Trucks and Susan
Tedeschi, is no stranger to working with “Billboard” and also
Grammy-winning talent. He has previously toured with Maxwell, Jay-Z
and Mary J. Blige, Diddy, Mike Phillips, Ayo and Fantasia. He also is
famously putting a stamp on his talent as a vocalist with recent
performances at the Blue Note, NYC; as an opening act for
Tedeschi/Trucks, and as a background vocalist with Maxwell.
Brady Clampitt is a vocalist/guitarist and Berklee College of Music Alumni from Jacksonville, Florida. He is now more than ever, a versatile, live performer singing and playing guitar, keyboards and lap steel. He has honed in on leaving his own legacy of writing and production for studio recording.
The live band shows are full of: energetic rock and roll, blues, funk and soul. Conversely, his art form is subject to a sharp turn towards honest ballads and uplifting gospel.
His raspy, yet refined vocals, are delivered delicately above the sound of his powerhouse lineups and special guests.
At just 32, Brady's been infused into the local scene appearing on episodes of CW17’s «YourJax Music» and has earned a performance slot for the third consecutive year at the world renowned, Springing The Blues Festival in Jacksonville Beach.
In addition to releasing his debut album in 2014, Brady has continued to build a fan base with a wide demographic appeal. In 2016, he teamed up with the nation's premier harmonica player, Isaac Corbitt, for the Corbitt Clampitt Experience. They toured extensively and completed their tour with a prime time set at Hulaween at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. They amassed a quick following and are planning for the release of an original EP in 2017.
Brady has become comfortable playing the national level shows and opening up for such artists as Blackberry Smoke and Brantley Gilbert. However, he will never miss the chance and could not be more proud than to rub elbows in his local hometown scene with the likes of JJ Grey and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
His original music provides the foundation for his performances and yet touches and embraces: roots, motown, oldies, and country music genres.
Brady's live performances are anything but routine and shouldn't be secluded to one genre, but more so a culmination of intrinsically composed elements of many.
